Protect the Mercury and Air Toxics Standard (MATS) and Carbon Pollution Standards

 

On June 11, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin announced a proposed repeal of two Biden-era regulations: the Mercury and Air Toxics Standards (MATS) and the carbon pollution standards for power plants. We must act now to protect these standards. That's why we're asking you to take three vital actions:

  • Sign up to provide comments at the MATS public hearing by June 29th (spots may fill up quickly, so please sign up as soon as possible!)
  • Submit a written comment on MATS by August 11th
  • Submit a written comment on the carbon pollution standards for power plants by August 7th
