Thank you to everyone who joined us in person and virtually earlier this month for Our Planet, Our Health: 2025 Climate Action Convention! This event reaffirmed the power of our community and the urgency of our shared mission.
On March 4th, the Consortium, the American Lung Association. and Physicians for Social Responsibility also scheduled over 115 congressional meetings. With 109 participants representing 25 states, we emphasized the critical need to protect the Inflation Reduction Act—a priority we’ll continue to advocate for during in-district meetings in April.
The Diploma in Climate Medicine from the University of Colorado School of Medicine is a five-part continuing education program designed to equip healthcare providers to lead in climate and health policy, environmental justice, health system decarbonization, workforce training, and research dissemination. MiCCA Educational Meeting: Climate Change and the Future of HIV Prevention & Treatment March 27, 2025

This workshop will explore the intersection of climate change, HIV care, and healthcare policy. Through case studies, policy analysis, and community-driven strategies, attendees will gain insight into the lived experiences of those most affected by these issues. The session will also provide practical advocacy tools to push for interventions.
